went to bras brasah to get some stuff with pea, she finally got her laser pointer for 5 bucks!
i returned some books at the lib and we walked around bugis!

We shopped around before settling down at Shokudo, its a nice and peaceful looking place, like a lazy sunday afternoon!

ms tan's datelines feels like olvls, you spent so much money printing $10+++ and so many sleepless nights and when you wake up, the first thing you worry is her dateline D:

she just went Germany ! The country meh probably dreamed 100 times to go!
and she tatooed me with her marker that bleeds and made the kid scared to shake hands with me while we were in the lift! She's soooo cute! (the kid, not meh)

Went for dinner with my family +cousins +uncle today!
We actually wanted to visit Spize but walked by the new japanese restaurant EDOGAWA!
Once we stepped in, it felt like we were in japan because of the furnishing and the wallpapers and old japanese karaoke playing!!
the best thing is that most of their food comes in sets, so there's a plate of pickles, salad, miso soup, some radish and carrot stew and jelly for dessert! I LOVE SETS!
oh and their pork slices taste like the pork version of the sliced beef at Yoshinoya!!!

and the cha soba comes with this pretty quail egg that you have to mix it up with.. but we didnt try it cos we dont eat raw eggs!

the bbq was a blast! Although the food wasnt that nice accept the marsh mellows and the CHOCOLATE BANANAS at the end!! :DDD

the fire took really long to start until we figured that fanning with the styrofoam board at the charcoal like crazy was the fastest and easiest way!
It was so funny, when jordan only fanned slightly at the charcoal, people went "WOOO WAHH MUSCULAR SIA!" but when gerald fanned frantically there was total silence . . .

yw kl and me cooked alot at first, but later on gerald bs and hy took over!

we cleaned up abit after most of the food are finished cos it was raining slightly and we played dodgeball! and it took really long to eliminate everyone ~.~

after sweating alot and filling thirsty, we walked to 7eleven to get some drinks!
and when we came back, EVERYONE WAS GONE.
with the mess left behind and the charcoal still burning and our bags still left there.
there was only shixiang there waiting for us.

and nobody told us they're going off? they just disappeared like the wind to catch the last bus >:/

but yuting bbqed some marshmellows to cheer us up and i remembered i brought a bubble blower! each of us took turns to blow and the best was when shixiang blowed smoke bubbles cos he was smoking! the smoke in the bubbles were beautiful and when it popped, the smoke scattered into the air like fine sand in a desert!

we cabbed home in the end! :D

we walked 20 bbq pits after getting out from the underpass we take to get to BBQ PIT NO. 7
gehhh then walked and walked again until we found sushi tei and saw a SHUTTLE BUS FROM MARINE PARADE TO EAST COAST near our bbq pit.
it operates EVERY 30 MINUTES :D

then took the long bus ride to bm to cut my super long + thick + messy + sleepy mass of hair!

Went with miss ong and the girls( shili, eekeng blah blah) to Singapore Tyler Print Institute for their free workshop in the morn!

We all tried out, Litho, Silk Screen, Etching Print and Paper making from tiny bits of cotton!

She drove us to check out Dempsy Hill later on!
When we went up, we can immediately feel the chalet/resort atmosphere! (and the horrible feeling that sch's gonna start dissipates)

Dempsy Hill looks like a little cottage with lots of shops, bars, spas, cafes and restaurants! The B&J there is the coolest! A step inside allows you to put your worries at the back of your head!

There's a really ~~expensive~~ interesting supermarket there too, which sells pasta with unique shapes and sizes, meat, bread and other kinds of food that we've never seen before! There's even a cafe at the center of the supermarket! So after you shop there, you can sit down for a cup of espresso! (:

i was so surprised there is such a comfortable place in Singapore (:

ah and its not very far, its just near botanical gardens!

finally met up with kl and yw ytd for dinner + movie!
we watched Rule #1
The aircon in the cinema was SO cold! There were less than 10 people there!
This movie isnt just about any typical kind of ghost story, they even explained how a ghost an possess a human, and how to destroy the chain of possessions!

It was really bloody lah... mostly all the appearances of the ghosts!

Shili was right, the woman in the poster only appeared for 2 seconds!

The late post: SDN orientation 08!
This is Gollum, lisa's maria's and my group!

Orientation was totally screwed on the 1st, because of the changed timings and stuff, but it went absolutely well on the 2nd and 3rd!

Only 1 or 2 people didnt turn up for my group for the few days! (:

We had Nett as the Egypt woman for the box competition on the 3rd day! She came really prepared with her eyeliners and mascaras for those cat eyes! She even wore a garbage bag as a skirt for it! :D

we got 3rd for the competition but the prize was really stupid lah hahaa, the whole grp got a blue a3 file -.-

Lisa's band played their italian drums on th 3rd day too! They rocked the whole LTR!

For now, i hope someone plans an outing! HAHA no news from them yet (:

I finally tried this out!
You can see the core is stil there because i dont have a corer!
so i just threw the whole apple inside after sprinkling some brown sugar.
I LOVE BROWN SUGAR!!!!!

the apple turned out really soft and juicy after that~

Changed it to oat because i have a big jar of oat in the kitchen!

Was told work was cancelled after we climbed 200 steps(i rounded it off) up Mt Sophia~
But we'll get cake on sunday! CAKE! CAKE! CAKE!!

Btw, Mt Sophia is located near the back entrance of PS.

So it was 10am and we've got totally nothing to do!
Got ticks at Cathay and ate lunch at PS!

We watched The Spiderwick Chronicles!
Finally! Ever since watching the trailer, ive been wanting to catch it!

It was mysterious, scary, disgusting but fantastic! :D

Walked around cool shops too! We also watched as our money slowly flew away to a donation guy with powerful persuasion skills. And all we've got now is a book on 'How to be a succcessful person' and some discounts on Eng Wah Cinema.

Hello everyone!

I went to sentosa with shili + shirley + pea today!
Before we went, it felt depressing because we didnt have a volleyball and we cant think of what to do there at all!

But the sun sea and sand were so comfortable! The waves too! i love the shuuuushh sound they make when they touch the sand, especially those big waves! :D

Pea and me set at the water and waited for big waves (not very big, the ships didnt move any milimeters) while crapping away!

Checked out kayaking too! $8 for 1/2 hr :( so pathetic la

then rode bicycles all the way to palawan beach! Havent been writing bikes since 1/1/09 so it felt goooood! Especially because ive solved abit of my thyroid problems haha maybe. (forgot medication for 3 days shh)

I got tanned! hehehehheh im now a chocolate woman with really obvious untanned places under my slippers! But my face gets tanned the least! plus you can call me rudolph if you'll like -.- Shili and Shirley still look fair fair and yellow though!

i made cookies!

and i succeeded in making the icing!
I took a long time, started from 10pm until now! 2am!
4 hours!!

because the first batch turned out really soft =/
and 2 burnt batches

This turned out to be so cute i couldnt help running to get my phone and snapping it down!
celebrating ck's birthday at sushi tei tomorrow! :DD She's womanly 18!

For those who wants to try it out

Hundreds and Thousands cookies

250g butter, softened
140g confectioners sugar (icing sugar)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
375g All-purpose flour

Decorate : 150g icing sugar
2-3 tbsp water(depends on how thick you want)
3-4 drops food colouring of your choice

Hundreds and Thousands (the little colourful dots)

1. Beat the butter, icing sugar, vanilla extract and egg yolk together in a large bowl until creamy. Stir in the flour to form a film dough.

2. Wrap the dough in baking patchment (I used Ziploc bag) and chill for 30 min.

3. Preheat the over to 190 degrees celsius.

4. Roll the dough out to about 5mm thick and, using a cutter, cut out shapes and transfer to the prepared sheets or until lightly golden.

5. Cool your cookies on a wire rack and decorate with icing and hundreds and thousands.

Yesterday was my first time to Queenstown library on foot!
HAHA i under-estimated the distance! I thought it was really near but i was walking and walking and i didnt catch a sight of Queenstown Library!

I eventually reached in the end!
Oh man, regretted not bringing an ez-link card on me~

When i walked back home,
Delta Ave still seemed FAR away no matter how much I've walked!
But it was nice, with the gentle warm wind while the sun sets (:

TODAY
met ck up (i was late as usual) and played badminton! HA i think the walking paid off abit! I was more energized! :D

Bathed there, the water is seriously cold there.

We went off to meet shumei, xueting and kaihong after that! ITS BEEN REALLY LONG! We ate at Hans! The Set meals were so deceiving!

Main Course + Soup of the Day + either coffee, tea, orange juice or ice lemon tea + dessert!

Dessert : HALF A HONEYDEW!

they should change the dessert word into FRUIT!
But they have lots of cakes there!

Went to Haji lane after that!
HAHA its a mistake to go there on a sunny hot afternoon!
It was so hot even inside!
What more, its Good Friday and its cramped inside too.

ive been attending a wonderful orientation camp for the past 2 days!

waking up at 6(for the first time this yr ('O') was surprisingly no difficulty at all!
We played tedious and heart-throbbing games that filled us with SO much sense of achievement at the end of it. After those games, Kenneth even told us the meaning of each game and how to apply it to life (:

It inspired me and changed my attitude towards life *o*

Now is the time we have to make the juniors feel that too :D! Orientation 08 will be rooted in their hearts! HOHO!

I slept the best one ive ever had for a long time!
Had Apple Pie ice-cream and mantou for lunch :D

and went off to SPINELLI TO TRY LYCHEE MATCHA! THE NEW DRINK!

waited for them to get off from work and we got our dinner at SIN WANG HONG KONG CAFE! I find it really fabulous at menu design, taste of food, service, and appearance of the dishes that came!

the height of it is amazing.

Ya my scanning today was like that too, but on the neck.

The nurse applied a warm gel on my neck and just scanned, selecting the weird areas on the screen.

Chinese New Year is like the biggest and longest holiday for my whole family.

We only visited one of our relatives this year because the rest were related to my grandma and she couldnt go relative-visiting with us because of her injured leg that has not healed fully yet :(

But its quite a relief to us because relative-visiting is tiring! We have to cross some highways to get to their houses!

So, we went to watch 2 movies this year instead!

Ah Long Pte Ltd and CJ7! The story of Ah long pte ltd isnt what everybody expected from jack neo's films but mark lee was super funny when he acted in the movie :D

Cj7 was tear-dropping towards the end and I've always loved Stephen Chow's movies! :D
Its highly recommended!

Have been so frustrated the whole day
Dad cleaned the air con in my room today while going on and on and on about how dirty the stupid air con is because of my messy table, everytime he finds some dirty black dust whatever thing he kept showing me and repeating again.
Then he went about not switching my laptop everytime and about something that sounded like radiation translated into chinese that i dont understand and didnt bother to ask.
wanted to go outside for awhile but it was raining so heavily! Argh.

When we went out to have dinner he repeated it again.
it never ends
Its not like im not grateful, the air in my room smells nicer and cleaner like we had a nice air con after he cleaned it, but he just needed to say something once will do.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We spent days walking malls, looking at decorations, christmas trees and prices in Giant. We spent nights making the whole thing work like how we hope it will, as well as contacting everyone and telling them who are they buying for in the gift exchange!

and the party turned out great!! And everyone made it wonderful for this christmas (: We played drinking games, drank alot of horrible mixed alcohol for forfeits and hector vomited lots of topshop bags we got when we bought presents for the gift exchange.
